OPG Bubičić is traditional family farm in Dračevac near Poreč, engaged in agriculture for more than 100 years. Dračevac is a village 7 km southeast of Poreč on the fertile agricultural area between Žbandaj and Fuškulin, where Bubičić family and other residents have been engaged in viticulture, cereals cultivation, olives, vegetables, and livestock (cattle and pigs) for years.
Family Bubičić (aka Tončali) have specialized in olives cultivation and production of extra virgin olive oil as well as in cultivation of vegetables, specialy finest quality garlic.

Natural
Growing by strictly natural principles without additives, which are not natural for olives. Olive is a Mediterranean tree which is used to the harsh conditions.

Biodiversity
Olive trees are grown in biodiversity. That is environment, which means the foothill is lawn, and around it are grounds of other vegetable crops such as chicory, garlic, grapes, figs, hazelnuts, reeds, as well as acacia trees.

Without fertilizers
In the olive grove there is no fertilization with mineral fertilizers and organic fertilizer (manure) is applied very rarely, approx. every 5 years.

No pesticides
With biodiversity olive grove is very tolerant on pests and diseases, so it is never spattered, not even with eco products.

No irrigation
Under olive trees is a lawn, which is mowed in order to ensure the summer soil moisture.
Olive grove has mostly variety Buža and some trees of Rosinjola from Rovinj.
Pruning is done regularly once a year in spring.
Olive oil production is made exclusively in mechanical way in oil rafinery in Žbandaj directly from olive fruit. Olives are produced freshly picked from the tree in order to preserve oil quality. It is kept in inox barrels.
